Poll of the Day > I've been playing some Dota2 recently, and I'm still trash.

I've been playing All Pick and selecting Random. I seem to win as much as I loose (which makes sense as Dota2 is a forced 50:50 game). My problem is that I'm not really making any impact on the game, and all of my stats are super garbage.

edit: since Pure damage is being phased out, you might like Veil of Discord as well

No, you get a bonus for selecting random that cannot be ignored... and random only picks from a list of 10 heroes instead of all 100 or so.

Especially where the bonus for randoming is now a couple of consumable items instead of the extra gold it used to be. The items aren't bad, but they're not really worth the loss of control that comes with randoming.

midas isn't bad and neither are arcanes, and robas builds into the new Veil of Discord... which looks like it got massively buffed and affects spell damage of all types now.

...just don't feed your eidolons into the enemy, use them to control the jungles and take towers during siege waves only.

You get a courier and some items that heal life/mana.

My favorite hero is Juggernaut but I can't pick him because I always get hard countered.

Is this the only way to get these items? I've never played DotA but I would think you could buy those items in match.

Yes, it's a small gold advantage. It used to be 100gold advantage, which is nice.

edit: I still recommend Jakiro since he can freefarm and has valuable team skills
