Worth it if you enjoy competitive battling, but very bland otherwise. Characters and story are shallow, no post game, and the raid connectivity issues can get annoying.

They made raising competitive Pokemon easier than they ever have in past games.

People are complaining about no national dex, but the available Pokemon make the game feel more balanced so far in my opinion. No complaints in this area, unless you like ragging on them for Kanto region pandering.

No, but there are plenty of other games worth getting that will justify a switch.

If you are getting it JUST to play pokemon, wait till there are a few more titles you would want to pick up.

The new pokemon game was very underwhelming.
