I'd be lying if I said all those fights don't look hype though, even as someone who largely found KH3 to be disappointing. More than anything, it's kind of interesting that this all seems to be a second pass at the climax, making it bigger and more bombastic when really people had relatively few complaints about that section compared to everything else. Next to that fight, almost all of the other encounters short of MX himself feel really quickly slapped together. Bane_Of_Despair 12/07/19 6:22:54 PM #43:	See I don't agree with that being solely a KH3 problem (and honestly I don't mind it in KH3 anyway- I saw it more as a nice reward for the journey by giving a blockbuster ending). The only thing KH2 really did different was giving that mid point to catch stuff up. Other than that, a good majority is left until the end still. And we needed more payoff for the ~~Roxas and Xion plotlines than what we got. Well in KH1 they were by definition fresh since the concept of putting all these worlds together along with Final Fantasy was just mind-blowing. KH2 boosted the flashiness and cinematics and (for better or worse) the plot's insanity. BBS was all new characters and somehow actually had some good writing. Only a few years apart so they seemed to keep up with the times. KH3 took 10 years to give us the same old characters, minus a ton of them for no reason, and largely downgraded plot, cinematics, and gameplay. The most radical things were the Toy Story graphics (awesome yet totally irrelevant) and the pirates world (discount ripoff of another old game). There was absolutely nothing to do but wait for the inevitable KH story stuff (and wait, and wait).
