I've played one DQ game (IX) and enjoyed it, so I'm leaning DQ.

I got my Platinum on DQ XI. I couldn't stop playing. Awesome game! Not sure about the other. Never played it.

This is very difficult because unlike most threads like this, both games are actually good, and come from genres that don't really get games made for them anymore.
