For some people, that will be a positive (especially if they like the story being told, and didn't necessarily like or understand the context of the original). All right someone has definitely not watched this at all It's a Lindelof show set in the Watchmen universe with existing characters. I'm trusting after watching The Leftovers that he can deliver a well crafted and planned out show. So far Watchmen has exceeded expectations. It's a remix not a reboot. You can enjoy the show with or without the comic knowledge, and if it leads you to the comic you'll only have more of the universe to enjoy with that discovery The new characters they've introduced are great (lol Red Scare) and the old characters exist. If you enjoyed the comics you should check it out. It's quality from start to finish and loyal to the original material as well as the intent (which I can't say about the movie).
