I've been seeing Yang's place in this political race to mirror like Ron Paul's in 2012. Big internet supporters, but the establishment is keeping him down.
He has my attention because he has been vocal about the Fourth Industrial Revolution. A lot of people rag on crypto but the technology behind it is revolutionary. Nevermind being able to bypass the entire global banking system, the technology allows for automation like never before. Preparing this takes precedence over everything else and it's terrifying that the government is utterly clueless about this, as evident by the hearing with Zuckerberg and his Libra coin a few weeks back.

Dems aren't pushing anyone. The radicals just aren't convincing enough people, and that's when they can even be arsed to play by the rules. Half the time they don't even bother to learn what the rules are, whine about not being given the crown by default, and project their own sense of entitlement onto their opposition. Bernie wasn't a joke candidate in 2016, but his followers and staffers turned it into a joke campaign, and I see no reason to think they've improved.

He was supposed to be a joke candidate to make it look like Hillary wasnt running unopposed, but he got so much more support than she expected and she had to rig it for herself.

Because the Democratic establishment is invested in perpetuating the political situation which both gives them great power and great lee-way to not do anything with that power. By continuing to pretend that the Republican Party can be reasoned with, they have a ready excuse for why nothing is being done(the real reason is because the party's donors don't want any radical change). It is also likely the case that they underestimate just how bad the Republican Party is, because I'm sure their Republican colleagues are nice to them on a personal level(and there's significant overlap between the two party's donor class) and they can't accept their friends would ever intentionally do what they're doing. Most of these people are utterly disconnected from average people, whether they are a poor rural white person or a struggling urban black person, so most of them struggle to empathize with them, because their own personal situation is so far removed from the reality the majority of Americans face.

Of course, they also fail to grasp the status quo they are desperate to preserve is doomed no matter what they do. Whether it's by Republicans breaking American democracy or climate change wrecking the planet or whatever else, change will inevitably come, and they will be utterly unprepared to face it. It's why they need to be replaced, and the sooner the better.

I will say this, if the conspiracy that the DNC is pushing and conspiring to elect an "establishment" candidate like Biden is true then they're doing a miserable job of it.

We also have indirect evidence from the DNC now banning superdelegates from committing to a candidate before their state holds their primary election.

That rule was put in place after demands from Bernie supporters who thought that superdelegates were helping the establishment candidate.

Now banning superdelegates from declaring is pro-establishment? Lol.

I'm refuting the notion that the Democratic Primary season of 2016 wasn't rigged.

As for this season,

Say what you will about Republicans. They wanted to push their establishment candidate in Jeb Bush, but saw their base responded to Trump and changed tacks.

I'd say they didn't so much adapt, hell, Cruz and... The other guy, were plotting to split their campaigning to stop Trump. And it didn't work. They more just accepted that Trump won their primary and decided to throw their weight behind him rather than split the party and hand Hillary the election. For reference, the last time the Republicans couldn't agree on a candidate, they not only lost to Woodrow Wilson, they finished a distant third behind Theodore Roosevelt's Bull Moose Party. Honestly, the only thing we can conclude is that Republicans have the sense to learn from history and the Democrats don't.
