until a few months ago it was just like three people working on mcc in general

a whole lot of work had to go into porting these games to pc, least of which was untying everything from the framerate, bungie was real keen on doing that, and they still do, a ton of stuff was tied to frame rate in destiny 2.

all things considered it's really impressive they got these games to work on pc

I never understood the Halo series. I thought the first few games were okay but light on story. Then they kept introducing stuff out of nowhere trying to explain things that weren't addressed when they were introduced. Take what you know and ask yourself how much of that is just from playing the games and how much was found in other media.

not a huge Halo fan, but I enjoyed the game. the ring-world was an awesome experience at the time, and the game's combat and in particular AI was phenomenal. (IIRC fighting the flood was not the greatest, but fighting the covenant was fantastic. their AI was good enough that the same fight never felt the same even if you fought it ten times in a row.)

I'm dying to try Halo 1 with mouse and keyboard on my PC, but yeah this release is only Halo: Reach so far which is a bummer.

the armor unlock system is so fucking bad holy shit. they somehow managed to make it even grindier than the original reach. So fun unlocking shit I already unlocked 10 years ago!!!!

Halo CE PC was my jam. 1st online experience, and it was goddamn amazing

I remember the Warrant Officer grind in Reach being painful. Its funny cuz 343 saved Reach (however it was too late)

I played some Reach on my Xbox One last night. It felt oddly nostalgic for some reason lol

All Im missing is my pimped out Spartan from the 360 version.
God knows how many hours I spent to get all things(I reached the Field Marshal rank).

Sadly I dont have the same amount of time and energy to do it again though but it will be fun to hunt some achievements in Reach again.

Idk I know this game is originally 10 years old. So have they updated the matchmaking? The games I have been placed into are really frustrating for a multitude of reasons.

• The spawns are atrocious. I can spawn and my shields will be gone in a second because the enemy was already there to start gunning down my team.
• The AFKs/leavers. My god this is awful. Its casual mode, where is the backfilling? One time we were queued up for Big Team Battle and literally the only people left on the team were me and my 3 friends.
• So yeah, does skill-based matchmaking exist in this game? Because I will frequently be matched against cold blooded killers who may have been playing this series for 18 years. Meanwhile I will be lucky if I break 10 kills in a BTB match.

Youd think with 1100 hours in Siege I would be good at landing headshots but this is a completely different game...

I have been getting better at the game, but there are still some extremely frustrating matches Ive had. Also some of the maps/modes are hot garbage. Ive turned off CTF completely for example

ctf was never good in halo to begin with so you aren't losing much there

2&3 by far. 4,5 and Reach all have very poopy maps.

Powerhouse
Boneyard to a extent
Reflection (Remade Halo 2 map)
Breakneck (Remade Halo 2 map)
Forge Worlds Hemorrhage and maybe a another
