A bill to ban abortion introduced in the Ohio state legislature requires doctors to reimplant an ectopic pregnancy into a womans uterus a procedure that does not exist in medical science or face charges of abortion murder.

This is the second time practising obstetricians and gynecologists have tried to tell the Ohio legislators that the idea is currently medically impossible.

As absurd as this is, it's sort of a self resolving problem since it's literally impossible.

The real takeaway here is that here we are in the year 2019 (soon to be 2020), and large parts of America are decidedly moving backwards in progress on reproductive issues.

This is now at the point where parts of America are more ass-backwards on abortion than much of Africa. Think about that for a second. Against the advice of all medical science, every large and reputable medical organisation, and despite simple historical observation, America has decided to adopt the Philippines approach to punishing women. It would actually be less ridiculous to bring back the alcohol prohibition, but here we are.

Idiocracy isn't a comedy movie anymore, it's a dystopian horror docu-drama.
