I already owned a few pairs of Chuck Taylors in my life so don't recommend them. They are super fucking uncomfortable and make my feet bleed and hurt if I walk more than one mile with them but I only bought them as gym shoes. Yes I bought and tried CT2's but they still hurt. Need recommendations on running shoes and also shoes to wear when going out in public. I pretty much need recommendations on everything including shoes and clothes cause I want to upgrade my fashion style to make me look like a bad ass alpha male that I already am inside but I need to look like one on the outside too.

Vans Old Skool if you don't want to spend a lot.
Adidas Ultraboost if you're willing to pay a bit.

Good workout shoe if you have sensitive feet but a bit clunky for running in.
