He's probably planning to release it in about 981 years.

Though I could go for Blues Brothers 3000. Certainly more than the 2000 version. I'd want it set in the aftermath of a global war that destroyed civilization. A descendant of Jake climbs to the top of a mountain somewhere, where they find an ancient Elwood, who became a hermit monk, and who has somehow become immortal via meditation. And then they will have adventures.

Also, there will be a funny robot sidekick and a dog. And to please the diversity quota, Jake's descendant will obviously be an ethnic lesbian girl.



EDIT: Oh, and instead of John Landis as co-writer/director, they get Max Landis instead, because he's really got his finger on the pulse of what kids today find hip.
