I used to work at one of these stores and my manager would sometimes say stuff like
"Ewww not at work." "Does your girlfriend know you're seeing other women?" "That's not how you ask for a girl's number." Would work the other way, too. Girls would walk up to the register and say "Can I/Let me give you my number." And I'd say to give me a second while I pulled up the lookup menu and some would say "Oh no not for rewards."
