I dont understand why youd mess with perfection and give the middle finger to your original fan base.

I had one for the first time in years a few weeks ago and it was definitely worse than I remember. I didn't know they changed the recipe but that makes sense now. Bleck

its crunchier, and less chewy so it doesnt stick as much as the original

while I guess thats good, it comes at the cost of taste

It was like a peanut butter cookie instead of a candy bar

I also dont like the new recipe. Its still edible but not nearly as good.

Wait, when did the recipe change? I know the recipe for Butterfinger Crisp changed between when it first hit the shelves over a decade ago and when it came back recently, but the original Butterfinger? Either the vending machine at work is slow on the uptake, or it changed super recently like within the past couple of months.

the flavor is not as sweet

the texture also changed, like I said before, the new recipe is more like a peanut butter cookie than a candy bar.

the chocolate also tastes different, it doesnt blend well with the peanut at all.

TC is correct and as big fan of the crunchy bites this has been devestating.

I am mad Snackwells changed their devils food cookie recipe. It says new and improved, but sadly that means smaller and cheaper to make with a worse taste. It sucks when something so good is ruined, especially when they treat it as a good thing.

Yea, I won't get butterfinger anymore.
I get 5th Avenue and.....I think its even better than old butterfinger now.
Only problem is only some stores have it.
