I'm still haunted by a 1.4 point loss in week 2 where there were four different bench players I could've started and won.

I've got two losses by under 1 point this year (This past week by 0.36 and another one earlier by 0.76). It's very frustrating.

All teams from last year's championship and the one before that are all 3-7 lol

yeah I did not win last year despite the best efforts of Chris Carson and Doug Baldwin. I blame Gurley, Conner and Keenan Allen for all getting hurt at the same time. Lost by like 7 iirc

I made the very poor choice to not pick up CJ Anderson thinking it was going to be a trap and he'd bust. Cost me the championship oops

Year before I don't remember the details I just know the guy went from like 2-6 to run the table and win it all and I think the number was 4(?) of my starters all got their lowest or second lowest scores of the entire season in the championship.

Well, the 3-7 team facing the 6-4 team has Conner who is done for the night with 2 points. RIP

Juju is also out with just four (full PPR) points

RIP me even if that's not even his worst showing on the year

(though as "luck" would have it Suprak owns Juju in this board 8 league and I'm against him this week. Let's just say Injuries Suck and call it a day)

my last coup before the playoffs has left me with literally just kareem hunt as a semi viable flex player on my bench (please come back AJ). but i was able to snag leonard fournette for james white marlon mack and robert woods. any injury will be a significant issue unless its to quarterback as i have matt ryan chilling on the bench if deshaun goes down

That's a killer lineup. Was going to say that I dunno if I'd have traded that many depth players for Fournette (and you still have Cook's bye to deal with) but then this week Mack goes down with a broken hand and Woods is randomly inactive. Looking like a really solid trade even if Fournette didn't perform all that well today.

As long as you're playing in PPR, Hunt has been a more than serviceable fill in since returning, so I wouldn't be that concerned with Cook's bye.

Just gotta pray for no injuries, because even one will be killer (especially if it's to a WR or Kelce)

I need it to be a 7 field goal kinda night for the chiefs.

And Kelce to outscore Henry+Butker by 10

Hill going down scared the hell out of me (I had Hill+18 points vs Nanahara with Watkins,) but thankfully the week 1 repeat never happened.

Of course, if Hill misses much time, it might be more of a stay of execution than anything.

So all I need to do is win out (I face the 10-1 team next week) while also outscoring the 7-4 team by 150 points over that stretch while he also loses out.

Over the past two weeks I'm outscoring him by 17/week so I just need to triple my average margin and maintain it for three weeks, easy peasy

Now that we have less than 20 remaining games in the season, you can fit all the possible permutations of ways the season can end by feeding the schedule into Microsoft excel and looking at all the possible ways the season ends (2^14, or 16,384 possible scenarios).

More or less involves me losing one, Wickle losing one, Bell losing out, Insane losing out, and you winning out.

Total of 5.5 games need to go right for you

Edit: made possible specifically because Bell(Arti?) losing out includes one of your wins and Wickle has to lose this week, as Wickle has to beat VI (insane?) in week 13, and the half game is because I can lose to either Han OR Suprak.

Anyway that worked out quite well. I was struggling on who to drop then I realized my kicker was on bye so I went ahead and dropped him and just postponed the decision of who to really let go.

Wish I played in a league where I could find Will Fuller on wavers. WR wire in my work league (which is 12) gives me a pick of Slayton, Dorsett, Gabriel, D. Thomas, Lazard or the Titans WRs as the top picks, eyeballing it

Yeah, I mean, he was drafted and never dropped from that team until last Sunday morning. Like I said it was a steep drop off after him. Not sure why he was dropped but it's the 5th place team (1 spot outta playoffs) so he probably had a dire need.

Also prior to this week he had 1 game out of 7 scoring above 8 points in 0.5 ppr so it's not like he's a must start.

In my 9-2 league my kicker (Gonzalez) was on bye. I really like him though and I noticed every single player on my opponent's team played in the early games. So I decided to wait and see what my chances looked like before I dropped him for someone else.

After the early games according to Yahoo I had about a 75%-80% chance to win without a kicker. My projection was to win by about 25. My remaining players were Rodgers, Adams, Sanders, and James White.

I was going to just yolo and roll the dice but started to feel really uneasy about it. I dropped Gonzalez and picked up McLaughlin.

McLaughlin outscored Rodgers, Sanders, and White combined and I won by 2.42.

Shew.

The fact that I even have an outside shot at the playoffs despite my top 3 picks being injured or just not playing all the time is incredible.

Had a 33 point lead going into tonight and he had Lamar Jackson. Oof. Been awhile since I've lost to the highest scoring team in the league when I have the 2nd highest score.

The one player I drafted in all three of my leagues this year is Chris Carson. I probably need a good showing in two leagues to make the playoffs. I have absolutely no idea what to do with him.

My back-ups are competent enough to start (Singletary and Jonathan Williams in one, Williams and a bunch of mid-tier WRs in another one that's 1 PPR,), but Carson has been so good (as a fantasy option) this season, and a vast majority of projections are saying he's the best option this week. My gut is telling me to bench him, but my gut is almost as bad at fantasy football as my brain is.

I think I'm going to end up benching him, but I feel like whatever I do is going to be the wrong choice.

I tried to do the same. Dude's super legit.

but I took no WRs in the first two rounds of this league even though I have to start three so I felt the need to start grabbing some and you took him in the third \_()_/

I'm super dead in my work league, but I can still play spoiler and I am rolling him out over a bunch of scrubs like Guice, White, Juju, Latavius Murray and Robby Anderson in hopes of doing so.

I don't think I'd play him over Williams, though. Then again, I directly benefit from you making the wrong decision and losing in this league so you probably shouldn't take anything I say into consideration regardless of whether you agree with it or not <_<

Personally need Carson to get phased out of work because I've been looking for a reasonable RB all season and picked up Penny an hour before the games last weekend >.>

Only time I've gotten any RB production has been the two weeks when Kamara was out and I could comfortably start Latavius.

I don't really care about RBs, but when the WRs I drafted in single-digit rounds between my two leagues are Adams, Juju, Cooks, Josh Gordon (x2), Robby Anderson, Sterling Shepard and Jarvis Landry, you can guess how my year has gone.

It has been a very, very painful year for me overall.

Things went pretty meh for me this year. Could still work for playoffs but... not sure it's going to happen. There's no waiver depth in this league and that honestly makes it pretty boring.

I wonder if I'm gonna be asked back to the league I'm doing well in this year.

A friend of mine had 2 people bail on their work league, and they wanted to make sure to keep it at 12 people, so my friend asked me and another mutual friend to fill in. It's 10 coworkers, plus my friend and me who don't know a single person except the commissioner.

That mutual friend and I are in 1st and 2nd lol

I am getting less points at QB this week than the guy who started Ryan Finley and I'm still projected to win fairly handily.

Even in the best case it looks like I miss playoffs because I lose the tiebreaker to Ark though, and I'll be first guy out oops
