Did a bit more digging, and apparently this is an "experimental beta" sent out to random people.
I would have been fine if I was notified beforehand, but I guess it wouldn't have mattered because YOU CAN'T OPT OUT. Like the fuck!? Did they know it was horrible and made it so people have to endure it on purpose? I've got it as well.
