I'm sure there will be. It probably wasn't selling as well as it had in past Holiday seasons so they decided to artificially increase the demand by pretending they weren't going to do it this year. Once everyone gets all grumpy and whiny they'll act like they decided to give their customers what they wanted and that shit will sell better than it has in last few years. They probably have the "You demanded it so we brought it back" commercials already made and ready to run.

Only if you ordered a holiday drink. If you did, then yes they were supposed to give you a free red reusable cup with it.

Starbucks drinkers are dumb. Straight up. I've never disliked a group of customers so much as them. I haven't worked for Apple yet though.
You've got the people who will buy anything and try anything, paying $6+ for a drink and then you've the people who are hooked on it but don't know what they're drinking cause they were once trying to fit in.
Then again, what can you expect from a group of people who can't make their own coffee?

I had no clue that was happening, but holy hell was I caught off guard when I showed up and it took another 20 minutes to get my drink (which was ordered 10 minutes prior on the app).

I wouldn't go to Starbucks nearly as often as I do if I wasn't out here for work with my company paying all my expenses... Including a constant supply of $6 drinks.

Idk if I'd say terrible. Considering how many varieties and they're not bottom quality; to me, it's all coffee though.
It is freshly ground and brewed constantly, being made with super filtered water. It's not anything God-tier though that people make it out to be justify the price.
Now the coffee in frap roasts, that's a different story. That's just instant coffee made with filtered water. That's what is usually in the expensive drinks, too.

It's burnt, they brew too hot. The specialty drinks aren't even coffee, just corn syrup and chemical flavorings. The only decent thing is plain espressos.

Nice. I wish my company bought all my coffee for me. Im usually the one who brings in some coffee, or cups, or sugar packets or whatever so everyone can have a cup of coffee if they need it and I never get any thank yous.

There is definitely coffee in the coffee...

What is too hot?
The same water (temp) that touches the espresso is the same for the coffee.
I had someone complain that the ice coffee tasted burnt on occasion but that's a consistent, shipped in product, so idk what they meant by that either.

You don't brew drip coffee in the espresso maker. If known several baristas and they've all confirmed that the brewed coffee is brewed too hot.

The espresso machine heats its own water.

I'm a current barista... I can confirm the water is just about all the same. Some spouts may have a few degree difference, but that's due to it travelling a little further.
All the temperatures are pretty standard and already set.
In fact, the machines will even let you know when it needs to heat the water and stuff.

Maybe you just don't like how Starbucks roasts it coffee. If you really wanted, you could use the water from the espresso pump and use it as a pour over making way too much work.

You do know that most coffee machines (like 99% of them) have their own internal heaters right?
