God damn was that a pain in the arse, but I got to start Legend of Legaia on my PSC, so it was worth it. Hopefully my dump doesn't have loading issues mid game like I suffered on PS1 / PS2. I got so far in the game.

I own that one elsewhere. The only games I don't have another version of are Battle Arena Toshinden, IQ: Intelligent Qube and Tekken 3. Of those, only Tekken 3 is worth keeping. I also lack the PS1 version of Persona, but I have it for PSP so I can just play it on PSTV. I'm better off clearing out the system storage and installing better games. I have discs for enough I'd like backed up.

That's what I'm planning to try when I've got some time. I have an OTG cable for hooking up accessories, but at some point I want to load its internal memory with some essentials for easy carry.

I just want them on system because my power adapter is only 500mA, recommended for USB stick is 2A. I put my powered USB hub into that, plugged it into another power point, and boom, I got plenty of power for my PSC, but I'm down two power points. Maybe I'll just grab a better one (and a bigger memory stick now that I know a working brand) when I'm next at the shops, but until then, internal all the way. I'll just restore the backups later.

I got PSTVs, but I don't want to hack ones the ones I actively use for PSN accounts. If I found a third, I'd be happy to play with that one, but even with apparently zero risk, not my current two.

Buying another PSC, going to load it with games for the kids. Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, some other junk. They should enjoy it.

Better than the default games. Granted, several decent ones there, but I already had most on disc / PSN and can play those with DS3 controllers.

We are friends now, haha. Rare to find others that played and enjoy that game. Love Legend of Legaia 1.

You should try Jade Cocoon, not a bad RPG, and Star Ocean 2 if you've never played it.

So putting together a game list for the nephews while I wait for the package to arrive. Anyone want to make alternate suggestions for kids between 5 - 12 who mostly enjoy action and racing?

I wish there was a way to download the PS1 games I bought on PS3 and put them on it. I don't like high seas adventure but would really freaking appreciate the ability to add things I own licenses to on an otherwise crappy investment.

If it had come out with PSN support and analog controllers, would have been a day one purchase for me. I have nearly 100 PS1 games on PSN.

I think you could dump the PS1 games with a PSP though.

There's a PS1 game called Team Buddies, that me and my siblings had a lot of fun with. It's a fun little team-based war game where you use building blocks you find in the field to create both your team and weapons/vehicles.

Unfortunately we only had the demo disc, because the game is stupid rare. I actually thought it just got canceled for the longest time.

Second system arrived and hacked. Unhappy with the seller though, the seller was a cheapskate with shipping (charged me $20, got a $9.50 envelope) and then forgot the power and HDMI cables. The system works at least and includes both controllers, so not missing anything I can't replace and it didn't get damaged.

Bought an OTG cable for mine, now got 46 games. Need to buy a decently sized USB drive, I'm thinking 128 / 256GB. :P
