Oh, so the home version of 10 is better than the home versions of previous Windows? I had 7 and 8 pro because I didnt like the home versions

Pro is only for people that intend to use it for business or programming. For gaming or something there's no need for it

I think in the past the Pro version made it easier to disable certain advertisements, but I don't know if that's the case any longer.

I always get Pro because I use Bitlocker on every drive - and I also like more control over when updates happen.
