because the latter is garbage and needs to go away

It must be a standard cod map, because they have UAVs, personal UAVs, counter UAVs, and advanced UAVs

that's okay because at least it requires someone on your team to get a killstreak

but just firing your gun alerting everyone to exactly where you are is stupid, make them rely on their hearing, not looking for a red dot

but just firing your gun alerting everyone to exactly where you are is stupid, make them rely on their hearing, not looking for a red dot

That's dumb, that basically forces everyone to get high quality headphones with surround sound just to be able to compete. The current system is much better. And if u were good u could use that to ur advantage, knowing that people nearby will come toward you. That's how you get easy killstreaks..

Have you tried getting good?

Absolutely.

Last CoD I purchased was Black Ops 3, so it's been a long layoff. The create-a-class system introduced in this game is nuts with the amount of sheer individual customization for guns and the inclusion of the fan-favorite AC-130 and Harrier is a nice throwback to the MW2 days.

Yeah, cant wait. Loved the alpha and betas. The Gunsmith feature is amazing. As are the graphics, sound, animation, etc. Campaign and Spec Ops look awesome too. Havent been this excited for CoD since 2009.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I wasn't a big fan of how it played in the beta, but hopefully things have changed from then to the final game. And then there's the big elephant in the room: microtransactions.

Infinity Ward said that there would be no more supply drops (they're going to a Fortnite-like battle pass model for post-launch cosmetic content) and that everything that affects gameplay would be unlockable through normal gameplay, but I don't trust Activi$ion to keep it that way all the way through the game's life. If they add supply drops and lock a gun behind them again like in BO4, then that's the last straw and I'm done.

It was actually on Activisions blog where they said there would be no more supply drops. Im optimistic. I genuinely dont believe theyll go back on their word, they would destroy whatever is left of their image.

If it was Activision themselves who said that, I don't know whether to trust that more or less. But going back on that and adding supply drops would destroy what little faith the CoD community has left.

Well it does speed up the pacing so it's not completely dumb. It's a nice in between between having radar always on and "how literally every other FPS ever made works".

I am. I always look forward to playing the campaigns on every new COD game. It's a toss-up whether I get into the multiplayer at all (never to like an MLG pro level, more as a fun time waster). BLOPS 4 was the first one I entirely skipped ever due to no campaign.

This one looks like it'll have a great campaign, hope I can get into the multiplayer too. I still boot up and play MW Remastered here and there. Got the platinum trophy on it too.

Preordered it last night. I work 11 hour days on the weekends so that sucks. Latest trailer has me hyped for the campaign though.

Good chance this will become my go to mp game unless Dice finally does something about the hacking problem in BFV. Every single match has at least one hacker and I'm sick of it.
