I literally stopped playing Amnesia because I only had time to play during the day and it just didn't work. Who would actually play these during the day?

Outlast and Layers of Fear are insufferably boring no matter when you play them. PT is more interesting in its exploratory nature rather than actually being scary. Don't have any experience with Amnesia or Fatal Frame but they're both also in the run and hide sub-genre of horror games which I just don't find that scary.

REmake back in the day was terrifying especially when dealing with Crimson Heads and also the only successful hide and seek survival horror of this generation is Alien Isolation, at least you can defend yourself to a degree and not be bound by the stupid developer's decisions
