For your tank, youll probably have to play that game to make it worthwhile. I got the DLC which helped with the tank early on. For her blade, I think one of his normal attacks heals more than normal. The problem is if you have a blade on her other than healing, she might not heal because shell use a different blade thats not for healing. Some people had trouble because they kept putting non-healers on her. Beyond that, attacks are based on weapon type, which comes from the Blade. Bitball weapons are basically healing weapons, try to get some Blades with that for her. There's a few other weapon types that are primarily healing, but I forget which they are... Any Blade that's classified as "HLR" should provide her at least one healing art. And the tank should have an art to defend and gradually heal for a bit, it actually heals quite a lot. Note there's 4 arts for each weapon on each character, you pick 3 of the 4. Otherwise youre just gonna be hacking away at them forever and risk them getting the opportunity to sweep your squad. How far are you? Whats-his-face is dead weight. Nia should be decent enough at healing now that shes off setting damage, and you should have a good enough stock of Arts Recharge pouch items that shes throwing those out more often and Rex can Anchor Shot enough to have an emergency supply of heals just in case. Kora came early enough for me that I had her by this point, so if things were bad, Id have Rex swap Pyra and her as needed to make sure I had options in case Nia was being dumb. Do you have any other Gauntlet style Blades? Blitzball blades are good too. If he is, you might be going after too many enemies at once. I never played him and had no issues with his tanking unless I was in a battle I didnt prep for. The thing is...the majority of the songs are great, in particular the area themes for each continent. But the NLA themes (day and especially night) and main battle themes (Black Tar, both versions) are fucking atrocious and you'll be hearing those 4 songs for like 50% of your play time. Shame, really.
