Caught 7 minutes and 39 seconds of Dark Justice just now and lmao. This is so bad it's brilliant.

"Da Bombz" have holed themselves up in... Uh... A building, and our heroes are unable to use any sort of lethal force against them thanks to OCP policies.

The leader of Da Bombz sends out Napalm Joe to blow himself up (not even as a traditional suicide bomber--like, just blow himself up, a safe distance from our heroes) to prove they mean business. He does so, and the leader exclaims "We do not negociate; we detonate!" which is both the worst and most quotable line I've heard in a movie in years.

Then the leader sends out Nitro to do the same. This time, a visiting cop from LA bucks OCP's rules and shoots him before he can blow himself up, but he blows up anyway.

Enter Robocop. He proceeds to raid the building single-handedly, because of course he does, but he runs across who I'm guessing is the main villain, whose supervillainy name I can't remember but he looks like Skull Man from Mega Man 4 with chain guns. He shoots Skull Man's chain gun, which seems to disable him for some reason and turns back to the Da Bombz gang.

Then I paused it. Will watch more later. This is gold.

So Bone Machine (lol) hits Ol' Robo with a "Rocket Grenade" before shooting the gang leader, who, unsurprisingly, explodes. He then taunts Robo before leaving. Police (or somebody) come in and find Robo, then take him back to the lab.

A short ad informs us that everything in Delta City is provided by OCP, before a board room scene informs us that OCP is way in the red and on the verge of collapse. How this is possible is unclear, yet the CEO asks the board if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it. There is silence.

A young guy speaks up. Everyone rolls their eyes, but he presents to them a plan for an AI that will run everything and everyone in the building and by extension the city. He calls it SAINT. The CEO informs him they are not interested in abstract ideas, and he informs her that he has already built it and it will be ready for operation in ten days.

Then he goes to his underling and relays the news that the project has been greenlighted, which is good considering it is done, and the underling reveals that it will be complete in six months. The executive informs him that it eill be complete in ten days. The underling counterinforms him that this is impossible, and provides a pretty good explanation why--it has to learn like a human does, and six months are required for it to go through the curriculum--but the exec encourages him to believe in himself (lol).

Then some other guy in the company meets with another exec, who implies he has been involved in shady deals and stuff, then encoirages him to keep being shady, lol.

To literally nobody's surprise except Robo's, Robo enhances the images he took of Bone Machine and discovers his weapons were made by OCP. Didn't we just learn they make everything? So Robo gets a flashback to his human life, where an officer is held hostage and tells him to do what is necessary and take the shot.

More to come.

So Robo tracks down this one officer, who is playing Chess against nobody (wat) and tells him how to checkmate in two moves. The officer, unamused, asks him what he's doing here, so he shows him the image.

The cop, for whatever reason (GEE I WONDRER) doesn't want Robo to share this info with anyone else. Then Robo leaves.

The cop has a flashback of a time when he played chess with Murphy (Robocop before he was Robocop) and Murphy was all cocky about being about to win, when the cop gets him in checkmate on the next move. Murphy can't figure out how he won and accuses him of cheating, to which the cop responds "this isn't poker. It's a matter of what you're willing to do to win."

Good gracious this is so dadgum bad, lol.

The cop (his name is John) tries to look up some info on Murphy, but it's classified and he doesn't have access.

A member of Da Bombz decides to sue over injuries sustained during their earlier terrorism. He is interviewed, with his lawyer, when suddenly he opens his jacket and reveals he is wired to a bomb, which he of course detonates.

A guy named Arch Nemesis puts together a... television commercial..? In the video, he talks about how he loves cops not having guns because it makes crime easier, lol.

Robo goes to investigate a Bone Machine target. It's a donut shop (of course it is) that Murphy and John used to frequent. This triggers another flashback, where they are called upon to investigate a "potentially rabid dog." Evidently they have been partners for a while. In a total Watchmen ripoff, they discover the dog is eating human remains. So John decides to break in. Murphy informs him they need a warrant, John doesn't care. They free a woman from a feeezer, then John gets jumped and we now see the earlier flashback in context. John urges Murphy to shoot the guy, and that's where I stopped for now.

Also, now they're referring to the city as Detroit again. I dunno, is "Delta City" a real world name for Detroit or something?

Murphy drops his gun, because he's an idiot. Then the crook goes to shoot him, but John disables him. Then, having already neutralized the crook, shoots him anyway and jokes that Murphy was right about the warrant.

So the two execs (Sara and James) team up and go to the basement of OCP, which as it turns out, is the meeting place of a wannabe shadow conspiracy organization intending to overthrow OCP's leadership.

John decides to try to look up the classified details on the weapon he tracked down that Bone Machine uses, only to learn once again that they are classified. Come on John...

James then gets assigned to be John's boss, as it turns out, and they converse briefly in John's office. Despite having the heaviest step imaginable and not even trying to do so, Robocop manages to sneak up behind James and hear John call James Murphy's son. Then James leaves, having not noticed Robo. John tells Robo that James' father was a friend. Evidently, he doesn't know that Murphy remembers, or that he is even Muprhy at all.

Robo has nothing to say to John (why was he even there?), so he stands there awkwardly for a few seconds and goes down the hall to talk to James. He has nothing to say to James either (WHY IS HE EVEN HERE?), so he stands there awkwardly for a few seconds and goes back to his maintenance... hangar... thing, and spills his metalic heart to the old maintenance lady, who suggests the line "Hi, it's me, your father." Then she leaves and turns out the lights on poor Robo.

John sneaks into Sara's office and is waiting for her when she arrives. She tells him access is denied on purpose, but gives in very easily and promises to get him the archives.

John and Sara have the same last name--Cable. The implication is that they used to be married but aren't anymore.

James talks with Sara. She mentions that John is becoming a problem, and James vows to "remove him." The SAINT guy (Damien) reveals he wants Sara taken out. His underling reveals his strategy to use SEGA hardware (uh... What?) to "fill in gaps" within the time limit.

Some technician is leaving Robo's room in the morning when maintance lady arrives. He doesn't acknowledge her. She asks Robo if he is feeling ok. After he does a status check, his Prime Directives are listed. There is a fourth: Eliminate John Cable. Is it just me, or is making that an actual Prime Directive excessive? So he heads to intercept John.
