The first 15 minutes alone are more complex than Fallout 4 was in 10 hours. Even the premise is creative. There's a bunch of corporations that have taken over and they've accounted for every possible move by their rivals. The one thing they didn't count on is the arrival of you. In the advertising, you're called "the unplanned variable". I don't know if you're called that in the game itself, but I hope you are. I always love it when a character is referred to by a title; makes them seem more like a mythical figure. Not the end of the world, but I'm going to have someone check the frame to make sure it's still true. The bugs are the single biggest issue holding it back. Shouldn't be too hard to find an unofficial fan patch, since modders take way better care of Bethesda's games than Bethesda themselves. I'd gladly have replayed it if it didn't crash every few minutes. Unfortunately, I have the PS3 version, so nothing I can do about that. When they're not royally screwing up, they're making worlds that are good to explore. Obsidian is more skilled in writing and RPG elements. The world in NV kind of railroads you in the first half, with deathclaw spawns there to keep you in line.
