22 y/o Emily Weinman, the Philadelphia girl whose violent arrest at a New Jersey Beach by POLICE and was capturedon camera has now filed a lawsuit against the department for LYING about the arrest!!

She is suing Wildwood and Wildwood Police when Officers Thomas Cannon, Robert Jordan and Lt. Kenneth Gallagher was seen viciously PUNCHING her at the beach!!

She said police escalated the situation and lied to a grand jury about what happened on Memorial Weeekend last year when Weinman repeatedly refused to give police officers her name when they questioned her about the presence of alcohol on the beach

A video shot by a beachgoer showed an officer TKO'ing her as she lied on the sand with her legs flailing

Republican Mayor, Ernie Troiano Jr said the lawsuit is FRIVALOUS and a MONEY GRAB as the officers were cleared of wrongdoing after previously being investigated

Bodycam footage and bystander video showed where she celebrated the weekend with her 18 month old daughter as a scuffle occurred

Her lawyer, Stephen Dicht was furious on the outcome and said "We welcome the chance to vindicate Emily and showthat police are the culprit in this case, not her"

It happened when police saw unopened bottles of Twisted Tea and to prove she wasn't drinking,she had to take 2 breathalyzer tests but refused to cooperate further when they demanded she give them her name

That's when they tackled her to the ground and Cannon was seen punching her twice as a struggle ensues as Emily said she was BEAT UP for no reason

She said it was unfair she was treated and claimed the officers thought they were ABOVE THE LAW and said "they think that because they're cops they can get away with it and that's not the case, that's not right at all. In my eyes, i'm not a criminal, i'm not a bad person".
