Family broke my 2DS a few months ago. Been keeping an eye out for a cheap replacement hoping I can recover my UK account once I had somewhere to stick it, finally found one. Bonus, it comes with games. Nintendogs for DS is shit that I'll never touch, and Sega 3D Classics Collection is cool, but I bought most of the 3D Classics on the eShop already (I'm only missing After Burner II), so I'm just going to play Power Drift and Puyo Puyo 2.
Super Mario Maker 3DS was limited in sharing and downloading levels, having only local sharing or random online stuff, no support for ID codes, right? Does it still support online features at this point? It can only play levels from the Wii U version. You cannot search for individual levels. You cannot play any levels that involve Mystery or Weird Mushrooms, nor can you make levels with Mystery or Weird Mushrooms. I won't be surprised if 3DS online support ends next year or so. 95% of all levels are absolute dogshit. The game can and will lag when too many things are on screen at once. Things like the flyswatting minigame are completely gone.

If a 2DS could be had cheaper without the games, I would have gone for that, but this is the cheapest I've seen. It's worth buying if you can still download levels. Otherwise, it's probably worth renting at least once for the Super Mario Challenge levels (if you can find a place to rent it from)

Well, package arrived. Game sucks but at least I can access online levels still, even if I can't download what I want. But whatever, I just wanted the 2DS.

Support ticket got a response. Looks like I'll be recovering at least most of my games (not sure how Nintendo handle 3DS purchases removed from the eShop). Just gave them the rest of the info they wanted and now I'm just waiting.
