A Man who died in March 2018 became a donor from another state after he was hit by a car while walking his dog and was braindead from the injury.

The infantryman raced to Maryland to meet the donor and the transplant occurred then

Operations like this carry a higher infection risk and the patient doesn't regain natural use of their penis as this is an entirely different procedure as it is more complex but a safer option to do a complete transplant of harvesting of organs

Ray said despite keeping his identity private, he only told his parents about the loss of his privates but wanted to tell veterans like him about this option where a number of men have lost their genitals due to injuries from enemy combatants

Ray also hopes that men become PENIS DONORS as there are thousands of men like him who need one because of life changing incidents and would save many men's lives

Jokes aside, that's actually extremely impressive, medically speaking. You've got to get a ton of nerves and blood vessels working just right to get a transplanted penis working properly. If they've pulled that off (i.e. erections happen when they're supposed to, he has full sensation), that's a huge accomplishment.
