How is it, apollo? i played for 4 hours basically. fun wise it's really fun. one of the few games that made me laugh out loud. the writing is great. even better than torment. the comedy is witty, clever, sharp but vulgar at the same time. atmosphere is great. the setting too. it's a fantasy world (not orcs and elves, but there are certainly supernatural elements and they just stay in the background) in modern time that have gone trough alot of history. ideological revolution, colonialism, fascism, imperialism, and alot of these political hijinks. the gameplay is also great. the "skill talking to you" stuff is great and hilarious. for example, i have high encyclopedia skill and if it's too high it will annoy you with too specific, random ass trivias like what species of bird is taxidermie'd in the hotel. you can annoy you partner by being smartass and correct him. for example, when we talked about the revolution, he said "around 5000 protesters showing up" but with the high encyclopedia skill you become that "ackstchually" guy and nag the EXACT number to him. it;s something like "achkchtuaaaally it's four thousand nine hundred ninety four" and it's hilarious. visual calculus is the most sherlock holmes-esque skill. basically it allow you to visualize traces of events and how it happened. like deducing broken window, a car breaking trough a fence, and i successfully deduced exact numbers of footsteps and several of notable one like big, deep footstep that belong to a heavy man or a small footstep with gait that might belong to a woman or a child. it's a lead the player can choose to follow or not. it will take several paragraphs to explain everything in detail but yeah. i played it almost non stop last night and didn't feel like 4 hours have passed --- http://i.imgtc.com/iJyp6bF.png http://i.imgtc.com/ZBw36Qh.png Thanks for the peeps that made the pics <3 if i make typos it means i am on phone <cite>apolloooo posted [p:928863471] in Disco Elys...
