I'm on vacation in America right now, and I've seen actual fucking tent camps in every city I've been (Memphis, Dallas, Los Angeles). The beaches near LA have homeless people sleeping under every fucking tree. Bums everywhere.

There are tent camps in European cities too, but those are like 95% refugees. Doubt that's the case in America.

Driving through Durham, NC one day I saw a guy taking a leak on the traffic light pole and not giving a damn.
Difference is that there are a lot of places in NC where they can be hidden from public.
