We all got that one friend that tags along but never has any cash when we were younger. All of us had jobs, but this fool always comes up empty talking about how he'll get ya'll next time.

I think I ended up buying some 10 movie tickets 20 meals for dude during my high school days and dude never got me back once. Plus, the times he did pay for his own shit, he acted like someone died.

I always acted nice and paid, but shit always kinda got to me after a while. Since we knew he wasnt paying any rent or bills at home either. You guys ever had friends take advantage of your generosity? Hell, sometimes I'd invite the little dude along just to have more friends at a movie.

Anywho, we all paying for his ass now. Dude moved up to North Dakota somewhere for 4 kids and getting all that government cheese. lol

Had a couple of friends like that in my 20's that we would pay for, but at least there was a few of us doing it, so it didn't all fall on one person. Doesn't hurt too much if you spread it over a group, and it's worth it to have a great group of friends to hang with and do stuff together.

Once. If theyre an otherwise good friend. After that, theyre an exploitative asshole and you should replace them. By paying for that bum every time, youre not allowing him to realize hes a piece of shit.

Never. If I didn't want to pay for a friend, I simply wouldn't.

This approach includes making an effort to do things with said friend that won't cost money, eliminating the issue entirely.

I dunno I'm biased because I was a poor hoe for most of my younger life. I do have a friend that would pay for me and occasionally others. But part of the reason he did it was to act like he's hot shit. He's crazy, good guy. Currently living with him.

I have not experienced something like this to the degree you have, TC. But I do have one or two friends who are little forgetful when it comes to reimbursing me for certain events.

Years ago we had a Bachelor party in Las Vegas and one friend owed me about $500. I do not like to remind people about money so I gave him a chance to repay me back without the reminder. About a month passed before I reminded me and even after that it took another two weeks and another reminder before he paid me back. He has a good paying job so I'm sure it was him simply being forgetful and not short on cash to repay me.

Another friend owed me about $200 from a birthday dinner and same thing, I waited two weeks before reminding him and he repaid me immediately soon as I reminded me.

My friends and I would just pay for each other whenever. Like if someone doesnt have money for dinner or the movies and we
All wanted to go, someone will spot them. If it was a little more expensive like Six Flags, wed pool some money together. And we never really worried about paying it back as we all didnt have money at some point. Or wed pay for their stuff, even if they had money. Like when I paid for my friends movie ticket because I got free ones due to the reward program or something...

Instantly since I'm easily irritated, but it would go away pretty quick.
