What is cool about Emporea is that the world resets every season... what's not cool is that people can just up and pay money to win the game, in a competitive game.

Although more solo focused than team focused... it suffers all the problems of a Korean MMO (MapleStory, ConquerOnline, 9Realms, etc) without actually being one, so it loses the advantages while keeping the disadvantages.

Again - you can just pay to win... in a seasonal based PvP hardcore mode competitive game. And you might think pay to win is an exageration? No... only the cash currency (BlackDollars) can be used to perform planetary combat actions. So you LITERALLY cannot perform an action that constitutes "winning" without paying.

EDIT: Of course, you only have to pay a little... if you have an epic team you only have to pay once to get any one planet and just conquer the rest, but this barrier of entry is a gateway into spending more and more

It's really good, that coulda been a top seller here. A remake could hit really hard... and the soundtrack is super hype.

Those are the BEST Isometric graphics I ever seen... a real attention grabber. The game itself plays really slowly though, so an HD remake would probably go over well.

I tried re-playing Grandia last year, took like an hour just to get through some beginning stuff, I got bored and quit, games kinda slow, especially with the voice acting, it's like damn man, move it along already.
