Simple. I'm still on 7.

4GB was plenty in 2010, and it's still plenty for a 2010 OS.

B-but security!
Upgrade to Windows 10 today!
And get the EXCLUSIVE Windows 10 experience with Minecraft and Candy Crush installed.
It's super helpful on your servers when we have XBOX apps installed.

But sitll, 4gb on a windows 7 machine
How... retro

I mean, I have a firewall in the router itself and I keep Malwarebytes up to date, plus I google the name of any software I want before I download it, plus I have no CC info on it and make hard backups of all my important stuff (and remove the drive after use) so I don't consider outdated built-in security that big of a deal. Worst case I have to get a new machine, which I've been wanting for a while anyway lol.

How many tabs do you have open?

I will say I don't understand how something as lightweight as surfing the Internet has grown into such a bloated affair (both in terms of system resources and battery life for portable devices). Browsing the web was always supposed to be one of the most ineffectual workloads a computer could do.

Web browsing is light if you only allow what is actually needed to run and stay away from things using shitty unoptimized garbage like webGL.

It's why I like PHP, although the more I see other web technologies like Ruby the more I realize the limitations of PHP, which is unfortunate.

Not much at the time I had maybe 4-5 tabs, CE, Morrowind wiki, tmblr page and google.
