He's not the future of the party. Everybody in the world knows he's a guilty lying piece of shit. So why don't they take this opportunity to be like "see we don't put party over country like yall say we do." Even if it does hurt them some right now with his base, that's temporary. This blatant contempt for our system and constitution will keep independents away for longer

After Trump is out, his slurpers aren't going to flock to Pence or anyone else in the party.

Support for impeachment has increased among Republicans from 9% to 28%. Support for REMOVAL has increased from 3% to 11%.

The Ukraine shit has people really pissed off, and more and more elected democratic officials are breaking ranks and speaking to their constituents about how awful Trump is. For many of these people, this is the first time they've heard anything bad about Trump at all.

The support to remove him is there. You just need the Senators willing to grow a spine and defend it.

Or the only remaining people who are still grounded in reality. This is the same play book directly ripped from the Kavanaugh strategy. Accuse someone of something with no concrete proof.

In this country, we believe in a concept called "innocent until proven guilty." It's not the defendant's job to declare their innocence. The other side is responsible for proving the guilt of the defendant. All the defendant has to do is create reasonable doubt; to which, in this case, as it stands right now, is plenty of. We have a transcript that Trump released and two whistleblowers saying it isn't accurate.

How do you base a conclusion off of that? There is reasonable doubt. We don't just take people at their word in this country. We work off of DEFINITIVE PROOF.

Innocent until proven guilty.

So you are admitting that trump is doing everything in his power to prevent his actual real guilt from being proven. He's a criminal trying to keep the evidence hidden. That is what you are saying. Good to know.
