MJF promo was pretty good. So far, it's by the books right now but I mean, that's fine though to get people acclimated. The camera work is so many times better than WWE's though, notably. Production is top notch. The commentary actually feels authentic too and doesn't just become white noise.

Really confused by the usage of Sammy Guevara after the show of respect earlier though.

I did expect fewer shenanigans but Riho/Nyla, Page/PAC, Cody/Sammy and the Main Event were all good but I'd have dropped the Brandi spot from Codys match and I loled at them using Nitro Ending B.

I'll be back for more for certain.

NXT had better matches overall and the better surprise reveal at the end, but AEW had way better energy and a massive crowd who was into it and the 6 man was very good

That was my biggest gripe about last night- too many rapid camera changes, and too many of them going to the crowd instead of the action, or other stuff that didn't make sense.

I do think the women's division is a pretty big weak point so far though :\

the women's division is definitely the weakest part of the show but i thought riho looked great, it's mostly the american women letting them down especially with the loss of kylie rae. i thought some of the crowd shots weren't great too.

i can see the moxley run in not being a dq as something that didn't make sense but struggling for anything else

it made perfect sense in context of the show which was the angle i was looking at, he's exactly a muscle henchmen type. i can see saying "hiring jack swagger in 2019 doesn't make sense" but that's a different angle, i think.

i loved ecw swagger but the it never really came together for that guy, sadly. then it turned out jake hager never really had the motivation or discipline to be a big deal in this industry even if things had come together. so i'm not really hoping for more than jericho's muscle from him here, but we'll see what he can do.
