I don't have much history with BR games aside from this and a week or so trying out Fortnite, but will King's Canyon be retired for S3 or will they randomly choose between the two / have players given an option (via different modes or whatever)?

Unknown when pubg added new maps at 1st it was just randomly picked but then eventually they added a level select

I'm assuming for season 3 they will have a play Apex mode with ther original map and then playing on the new map as a separate mode

I played like three games last week on the new map, and that Charge Rifle was sick. I picked it up just to see what it was like and obliterated the first enemy I met. I read they are going to alter it soon though.

Shadowfall is pretty intense

Oh wow, I played one game of Shadowfall, and I really liked it. I ended up being one of the final 10 having not fought anyone up to that point. Then things went to hell. I formed a trio of people right near a zipline and in a small ditch. We took care of several shadows (there were eight total as I guess most people quit once they died), but one fell victim. The other player and I took the zipline in the direction of the really tall building under construction exclusive to the second version of King's Canyon. The other person inexplicably left, but I joined up with the rest on top of the building. Most of us held out and the evac ship spawned right next to it, so I literally jumped down to safety. Six of us won in the end. I want to play more, but I also feel I should "retire" undefeated lol.

I made an idiotic mistake. A teammate and I took out a team in a building only for another team to show up. They took out my teammate, and after a long gunfight, I took out the remnants of the other team with no shields and only a sliver of health. I had means to heal myself, but I stupidly left the building and was immediately sniped.

Wow, the circle gets really small. I haven't had a game last as many rounds as I did earlier today, and the final circle of the game was concentrated in a building that barely covered a shelving unit in the middle of it. It was the first time that I have won via ring death since the first week I played this back in mid-February.
