I'm only just now learning that the final 3 episodes aired yesterday. I hopped on this crazy train way back in season 1 and hopped off of it around season 5 or so, and it's hard to believe that it kept going for 4 more seasons after that and almost lasted an entire decade in total. I'll never have time to go back and watch the 4+ seasons I've missed, but I'm tempted to at least watch those final episodes to see how the journey ended.

It was an adventure, that's for sure.
I spoiled it for myself ages ago when they leaked, so the impact has faded for me, but I felt. . . weird after. I remembered when my little cousin sent me little youtube clips of the show, telling me her favorite characters, what they were doing. I've had a lump in my throat pretty much nonstop since I finished the series. It's times like this where having Aspergers is truly awful. I get a fondness for something good that lasts a long time, but then it ends and it feels like a sledgehammer to the soul. Is this what a drug addict feels like when going through withdrawal? Ever since 2011, I've coasted by on the knowledge that more new FiM was in the future, but I never imagined what would happen when there wasn't.

I finally just broke down and had a brief cry. The lump's gone, the worst of my sadness has passed, and I think I can start to move on. I'm so glad my mom and brother are out shopping right now. My brother would likely ask me what's wrong, but I'm one of those people who wants their bronydom to stay secret, so this is the only place I can safely vent without judgement.

It's not just the loss of ponies that has me sad, it's also just everything else I've gone through since I discovered it; the past decade in general. I had many a good day in the past, especially when I lived at my old apartment in the town I lived in for 15 years. Ponies are closely tied to most of the memories of my adult life so far. It feels like now that ponies are over, those good times are over as well.

Also,  This is M855 ball. 62 grain FMJ with a steel penetrator core, also known as green tip, thanks to the small bit of green paint the noses are coated in.
