The Mortal Kombat cast has officially been set..and there are some disappointing news as Kitana and Johnny Cage will NOT appear in the film and only 2 female mortal kombat characters will be in the movie, that being Sonya Blade and Mileena

The Reboot has fans yearning for a remake for years after the original film surprised fans of a good adaptation but failed in it sequel when much of the cast members did not return..

Producer James Wan and Australian Director Simon McQuoid will begin filming the movie in Australia next week and it will be a HARD R that will feature the gory FATALITIES from the video games as much of that was not done in the original adaptations.

The cast got together last week at an Australian bar and made a group shot showing all of them together

American Actor, Lewis Tan will play the main character of the movie as he's best known for starring in Into the Badlands and recently Netflix's Wu Assassins. He promises the reboot will NOT disappoint fans and will produce a true adaptation to the video games.

No, the original kinda sucked, too. The sequel was only worse given the terrible special effects for Outland.

Sisi Stringer - Mileena

Wait, wait, wait, so they conspicuously cast Asians for even the roles where they might be able to get away with a non-Asian for (like Raiden), but then they randomly cast a black chick as Mileena? Honestly, even a black Raiden (played by Idris Elba, because of course he'd be played by Idris Elba) would make more sense.

It's probably going to be a trainwreck. The only question is will it be funny in the process.

Jax should've been played by Terry Crews.

He certainly has a better physique for the role, considering that Jax is depicted as pretty buff.

Also would it kill Hollywood to adapt some other franchies? We've had Mortal Kombat movies, we've had Street Fighter movies, and we even had a DoA movie. It's high time that we get a Primal Rage movie (not to be confused with the movie Primal Rage featuring one of the worst bigfoot outfits out there, which sent me into a primal rage)
