That was crazy, but I don't think it has endured the test of time as well, simply because Brian and Greg themselves haven't. That was in the Kalahari Desert on the way to a Pit Stop literally called "The Middle of Fucking Nowhere" IIRC, which... should be iconic too, yet I never hear about it anymore.

More the reaction to it, how Lynn and Alex stopped and Rob and Amber didn't and L&A criticized then for it.

That being said I made my post before I saw Inviso's and I do agree that the ending to TAR2 is probably the series's defining moment.

Well you just finished your TAR7 rewatch, so all of that is fresh in your head. I haven't seen it since it aired, and it's not the moment I remember most from that season, which would be Boston Rob quitting the meat-eating Roadblock, then convincing several other teams who were contemplating it to quit as well so he'd have a head start on them. (Those teams lied in exit press that they were already going to quit it, but we all know that they just wanted to make themselves look good. If they were already going to quit, why didn't they when Rob did?)

They weren't there yet. Ray and Deana arrive just seconds after Rob quit, and Meredith and Gretchen arrived sometime later.

That shows how long it's been since I've seen it, doesn't it? Even so, I think Rob saw them contemplating quitting, and by saying he already did himself, pushed them over the edge to do the same. (I thought there was a fourth team that quit as well, specifically Ron & Kelly, but my bad there.)

Anyway I made a list of what I feel are the defining moments of all the seasons I have watched in the past 6 months or so. This is off the top of my head and if I thought about them really hard some might change.

1 - Nancy & Emily's elimination
2 - Final footrace
3 - Flo giving up on the leg 12 detour
4 - Everyone gets mad at Reichen & Chip and Tian & Jaree for cutting
5 - Take your pick from Colin's meltdowns (mostly almost getting arrested and "MY OX IS BROKEN!")
6 - Jonathan shoves Victoria
7 - Brian & Greg flip their vehicle
22 - Jessica & John's elimination
25 - ???
27 - Kelsey & Joey beat Justin & Diana at the last second
29 - Take your pick from Brooke's meltdowns
30 - The final Roadblock
31 - The redemption of Colin & Christie

Dunno why I can't think of something for 25.

Pretty much my feelings, too.

And the edit made it way too obvious, despite implying it could've been anybody. Because of "blindsides are fun" and a few other things Chelsea said. I would've loved to have seen a shock Missy or Aaron elimination with this buildup.
