Board 8 > Kingdom Hearts Order

So I got the Kingdom Hearts HD Remix 1.5+2.5 which has 6 games in it (KH Final Mix, KH Final Mix 2, re:chain of memories, 358/2 days, birth by sleep, and re: coded). My main question is what order should I play these in? I snagged KH 3 for $30 canadian yesterday also, which would obviously be played after all 6 of the above.

Yeah that basically.

Some are going to insist you play 2 before Days, and you can, but it doesn't really matter.

Yeah I was going to say, in a first run without knowing anything, you really shouldn't play 358/2 before 2.

if you want to get really hardcore you can start Days before CoM, but then play CoM during the time period that it happens in Days

Yeah I would do 2 before Days as well. Makes a lot of 2's plot points stronger

If you care about trophies though rush through the days cutscenes by skipping them before you play CoM because it unlocks cards in that game

As someone that just played through the entire series for the first time this is correct.

Release order. Days builds on 2 and spoils stuff from that game.

The cutscenes are only 1.5 for purely logistical reasons

And then KH3.

There's also the phone game, Union X, which will expound more on the Back Cover stuff, but the main story takes a while to get to anything plot-relevant. At least you can skip missions that don't have cutscenes now.
