It depends on how you handle pressure. Some people do better, and are even more comfortable, with things when they're in a pinch.

It's less stressful I'd imagine. I wouldn't call it more easy though.

I think it's easier if you have the free time to do it.

If it isn't your sole focus, it is harder. If you don't have the money to stay afloat while doing it, the stress will make it harder too. But in general, it is hard to find the one you want.

Having responsibilities makes you more motivated to look for work and can make you a more sympathetic candidate since people recognize that you have a greater need. Plus people with families are seen to be more stable employees and less likely to leave for opportunities elsewhere. And, of course, there's the general perception that people with more responsibilities are more mature.

Easiest times I ever had looking for a job was when I already had one. Less stress is nice, plus if you don't get it, you always have a back up to fall on

Job hunting is way easier when people are reliant on you. It gives you the impetus to get shit done and get it done right
