Depends on details. If you could safely teleport anywhere instantly, that's pretty great, even more so if you can bring any objects you are touching, if it's nightcrawler style where you have to see your target it's less cool.

If shapeshifting includes mass and strength changes , like the above mentioned trex example, it is also super boss, if it's mystique style it's way tamer.

Is invulnerability at a cellular level where you wouldn't even age, hair couldn't be cut etc, or is more like nigh invulnerable where most things don't hurt you, but extreme forces still can.

You can teleport anywhere

With shifting you can get bigger/smaller to a certain extent, like a bear would be fine but a blue whale wouldn't work

And with invulnerability you age slower and your hair is tougher to cut, on top of resistance to bullets, bombs, viruses, poisons, etc. But not say the heat death of the universe or colliding stars.

I'd use shapeshifter to change into a being of infinite power. I'd therefore have all the other abilities and then some and be able to do w/e.

I feel like Nightcrawler's teleport isn't near as good as it should be. I think that since he's a pacifist, he never trained his ability like others train theirs so it always felt less than it should be.

Toss-up between invulnerability and shapeshifting. Granted, shapeshifting in most contexts either extends some pretty serious durability buffs or has a built-in healing factor.

It's just something that would have to be included or not. I mean, the Skrulls are shapeshifters but they do "shapeshift" even the dna. But I feel some would classify that more as morphing into rather than just shapeshifting.

Shapeshifting easily
Would that include to be able to turn into anything I wished whether it existed or not?
Since I am interested in seeing what would actually happened if I turned into Yveltal.
And I have been that Pokemon in my dreams quite a few times.
And if I turned into a Dragon I would gain the powers of darkness as well since the dragon I ended up in my dreams can control darkness as well as change shape.

Look, shapeshifting even with limitations to mass/size, give you the ability to change your form, density etc. This would in effect also make you immune to age, and most injuries (if something gets damaged you just reform it).

While not totally immortal (if all your cells get destroyed your gone, you could potentially live a very very long time.

Meanwhile you don't have magic powers but just about any ability a living creature has, you can simulate, and since you can incorporate density/mass etc of non-living matter to some degree, or combine various forms/shapes etc, probably quite a few abilities that don't surrently exist in nature.

For instance, there really isn't a creature that can survive/live in outer space, but....you could in theory shapeshift into something that could (creating a space suit out of yourself that includes a full conversion of o2/co2 etc with no loss inside as well).

Also, yes, you can sneak into places, be the other sex (or new weird cooler sexes (IE both sexes and literally screw yourself (3 of each sexual organ for instance etc...you can have a solo orgy!!), and simulate celebrities/other people (basically instantly as rich as you want to be..and money buys many of the other abilities as well).

So shapeshifting gets you:

Flight
Super strength
Super speed
Invulnerability (with a few limits)
Immortality (age does not matter anymore)
Water breathing
Super hearing/eyesight
Chamealeonsim (can look like an environment so limited invisibility basically).

Bunch of other abilities, but all those from the above list. You don't get telekinesis (although you c ould make long tentacles etc and move things from range like that, or shoot a spike at something) and you get no form of teleportation, but you pretty much get all the other abilities on the list.

And all the sex in whatever possible perverted ways you can imagine.

Depends. If it's lame shapeshifting like Mystique, then not that. But if it's awesome shapeshifting like Alex Mercer from Prototype (transform your body into basically anything you can imagine), then that.

Tough choice between teleportation, shapeshifting, telekinesis, and mind reading, although I guess I'm leaning a bit more toward shapeshifting or mind reading.

mind reading, and I would use it to cheat at games and I would only feel a lil bad mwahahahah

Depending on the kind of shapeshifting, shapeshifting could also include functional immortality. If it's the kind where you can reshape your entire body at will, you can pretty much shift diseased cells into healthy cells.

You can teleport at a high altitude that's still below any flight paths. Or if you want to be extremely safe, you can just teleport to a distant spot that's within your line of vision and just keep teleporting in quick succession.

I read a comic with similar. Guy wasnt invulnerable or immortal though. Just his creator so to speak decided he was too dangerous but didnt wanna kill him either so he incased him in a concrete tomb underground assumingly with some support function keeping him alive. He was kinda nuts at first but ended up coming around.

Decent comic by the way. Its called the marvels and it follows several well known story arcs in marvel comics but from thr perspective of a journalist seeing it from the ground/at a distance. Amazing artwork done by alex ross

Tricky choice. Flight would be the most fun; teleportation would probably save you the most time and money (cars, transit, and even airplanes are now completely unnecessary for you); shapeshifting and invisibility have the most lucrative applications, especially if you don't mind breaking the law; invulnerability has the best long-term effects; and telekinesis is probably the most practical in your day-to-day life.

Super speed and super strength are overrated (especially speed, given that teleportation is an option), and I'm not sure why anyone would go for water breathing in a world where scuba tanks exist. Mind reading is OK (assuming it's the Hollywood version and you don't just have to try to piece together's someone's stream-of-consciousness), but there are much better options on offer.
