I wouldn't call it something bad that I've "done", per se...more of an accidental bad thing that I came across.

I used to browse /b/ back in the day. I was stupid, and I saw a thread about an image scrambling program called GMask and thought "Oh cool! Puzzles! Those look like fun!"

After about 20 minutes of figuring out how the program worked, I saved the OP's scrambled image and proceeded to unscramble it. It turned out to be a meme pic, it was kinda funny, and the puzzle aspect of it was pretty fun. So I unscrambled another one. This one was most definitely not a meme pic.

And that was the day I stopped browsing /b/. -_-

Went on a recruiting trip for the sole purpose of recruiting potential graduate students

Unfortunately I was pretty burned out from grad school by then and also didnt know they expected me to enter the names of students who were interested into the system by myself (I was given paper slips to hand to the students who then wrote their info and gave it back to me)

So when I got back and found out, I only bothered to enter maybe 20% of the students into the system. I still sometimes think about how I probably fucked over some bright eyed undergrad who really wanted to attend my school, but hopefully they were proactive enough to not just to rely on me relaying their info

When a coyote attacked one of our goat kids it was slowly bleeding out and was going to die regardless of whether we got it to the vet or not. I had to mercy kill it but I closed my eyes and messed it up so it died in a lot more pain than it had to. The look the mom gave me still haunts me =(

Stole 500 bucks from my mom and lied to her when I was 12. Turns out she needed it for bills and made her stressed on Bills while I used it on games/food/stupid crap. I felt like the biggest dumbass and glad I paid her back when I got my first job.

You don't have to be fully grown to know that it is not okay, under any circumstances, to pretend to have cancer to get sympathy. Stop it. They fucked up, and they have admitted that they fucked up and have tried to be better. That's good. But don't even begin to tell them that what they did is excusable or in any way justified. -_-

EDIT: And for the record, this is somewhat of a personal issue for me. I had a "friend" in college who did the same thing. Even going so far as to have several of our friends (including 2 of my housemates) drive her on multiple occasions over an hour to a "doctor's appointment" just to walk inside, sit inside a random waiting room for an hour doing her homework, and then come back outside to get driven home acting tired. I called her out on her bullshit on multiple occasions, but my housemates and our entire friend group sided with her and basically shunned me for nearly a year for saying that she didn't have cancer. My aunt died of cancer. I witnessed first-hand what it does to people, and she wasn't going through ANY of it. When she finally admitted she was lying, not a single one of my friends apologized to me and I haven't spoken to a single one of them since college. Fuck her and fuck anybody like her. But at least TC has attempted to show remorse, something the bitch from college never did.

you misunderstand. of course they know they did wrong. why do you even think they made this thread? to revel in the glory of their mistakes? they made this vecause they still regret it.

Many years ago we had a dog. Giant thing. Never cared one way or the other for it but it never did anything.
I had a cat that had kittens. Never had gone through that before. We kept her in a shed and the kittens still couldn't even walk. First kittens I ever had at my house.
That monster, in about a 15 minute span when all of us were in the house for a while (this was spring so we were all outside most afternoons). He tore himself from his penned off part of the yard. Tore through that shed door. And he ripped to shreds each one of those kittens. He left pieces around the yard.
Just because.

Saying this was a highly traumatic event for all of us but honestly myself especially would be a vast understatement. It's still one of the worst events I've gone through short of actual family illnesses and deaths.
Granted my grandfather and brother delivered some punishment. But I told my grandfather. I'll give you 2 weeks. Find a new home for that monster, let him run away by leaving the gates open, give him away, don't care. But if he's still here in 2 weeks. I will administer his end personally.
He was still there in 2 weeks. And I know it's because all involved wanted it so. And I handled it.

Sent a bully to the hospital with a concussion, cracked eye socket, broken nose, broken/ knocked out teeth, broken arm and multiple broken ribs.

I felt like shit afterwards because I never lost control like that ever, but I reached a breaking point after being bullied every single day for years.

The dude only came clean when found out, said he did it as a social experiment, and that he was either a dramatic actor or an aspiring one. Could have just been a deflective measure to protect himself from what he did, but nobody was happy about it.

I had a heavy party life in my teenage years. I can't talk about parts of that life and after 20 until now I can live with everything Ive done. Bit in my teenage years I was still getting my mind right and alcohol didn't help...

About 8 years ago I was dating this girl. She had 3 cats, one of which was a male. The cat escaped and got flees and passed it to the kittens she was also taking care of. This cat would always cause trouble and leave its mark everywhere, my ex hated it.

One day, she wanted to get rid of it so I helped her. We took the cat to the middle of the woods and abandoned there. To this day, I still feel bad about it. It was poorly trained, but still..

I will also admit that Ive drank and drove on numerous occasions because I have no regard for my own life, including suicide attempts.

I wouldnt say my mental health is at its best, but I wouldnt consider the things Ive done in the past again.
