Been thinking about it for a few days, but I think we shouldn't focus on Epstein's cause of death. He is dead, there will always and forever be questions surrounding it, and those that hate Clinton believe the Democrats did it, and those that hate Trump believe the Republicans did it, and there is definitely ample evidence for either party or multiple other parties domestic and international to want his death to have happened with the means and ways. We all like a good murder mystery and whodunnit, even in real life.

But I think what we should keep a focus on, what probably won't be reported on nor will be voluntarily apparent, are Epstein's evidences and everything seized and any information he has. Because it is in Bill Barr's Department of Justice's hands. And like how the Mueller report was trivialized and advanced as a case closed by them, I just see this opportunity to shield further scrutiny and control the narrative even more now, and even worse, possible using any presumed blackmail Epstein had for their own purposes and attempts of control.

Just my thoughts on the matter. Curious if I'm reaching too far out there, or others feel similar.

I don't think it's unreasonable to have that lingering "well, maybe" doubt given how high profile the case was and how many disgustingly rich people could hypothetically stand to benefit from him being silenced, but yeah this, especially because he had motive for suicide on his own as well.

In re: Epstein, he likely destroyed most evidence already (shipped himself an industrial cement mixer, shredder, carpet remover and boarded up his temple) and Barr's father is the one who initially recruited Epstein, a college dropout, to work at the Dalton all girls school. So I agree that the evidence and prosecution of anyone else involved is what matters more than Epstein's cause of death, but based on the likelihood that Epstein was working as an intelligence asset and that people connected are powerful and currently involved in the government, nothing will ever come from it. They haven't even arrested Ghislaine. (Note- I just woke up so if any developments have occured in the last 8-10 hours I probably haven't seen it)

Montana can be sneaky like that and Tester for example keeps winning over and over (as did Bullock who beat Greg Gianforte back in 2016 by like 4%). They're a lot bluer than a lot of other similar states. It just takes the right candidate.

Bullock was that right kind of candidate, and they don't really have another on the bench.

Bullock not running for Senate is unfortunate and is a blow for retaking the Senate, yeah. But I'm not sure how it gets you from 1% -> 0%!

Assuming you have CO, AZ, and ME flipping with AL negating one. Is NC/IA really that much worse a position to be in than MT? I know Bullock was uniquely good for running there but I feel if losing the chance at MT was what brought you to 0 - with the implication nowhere else was in play already - you should have been there already!

Personally I think it's still alive. Very much uphill, yes, but not zero. Definitely an annoyingly high chance it falls short at 49-51.

Is there anything technically stopping one senator from a state from running for the other seat? Like obviously they couldn't actually have both seats at once, but say they won and then vacated their old seat, triggering a special election?

I know it would be extremely dumb, but as Trump has shown there was a lot of stuff that people didn't think needed to be spelled out before that actually did...!
