So two nights ago I only slept like 3 hours, and then worked 5am-1pm yesterday. As soon as I got off work I drove to a super busy grocery store, bought groceries, ran home to get anything frozen I had in the freezer -- then went to get a haircut. The haircut place was surprisingly busy, and I was falling asleep waiting (~1 hour wait).

When I got home I was dumb tired and could barely keep my eyes open. There was a truck next to where I parked -- and I parked flush with the truck, not really paying attention to the parking lines.

This morning when I got up for work I realized, "wow, this truck and I are both kind of far forward in the spot." I thought nothing of it and began driving. About halfway to work I keep seeing a shadow on my window, and eventually I look and see there's a sticky note. I was on the highway, so I waited until I was off the highway and hit a red light to try and squeeze my arm out and reach for it -- but it was at a sweet spot where I couldn't squeeze my arm out the window enough to grab it with it still above my window slot.

Once I got to work I was about to take it off. I read it and it said some passive aggressive shit about "hey neighbor, please don't park so far foreward (sic) in the parking spot next time, it makes it hard for others to manuver (sic)," with little unfilled dots on the i's -- like some basic white woman wrote it.

I'm kind of mad and kind of annoyed. I get it - I parked like shit. But I was flush with the truck next to me -- and is it really necessary to leave an anonymous note? Obviously I passed the driving exam, and I'm intelligent enough to make enough money to live in our boujee complex.

I'm still shook, CE. I just parked like 2 blocks away by another building just so I don't accidentally run into this turd of a whitie.

Nope. true story. this morning

So you didn't park within the lines, making it hard for someone to pull out of their spot, they left you a seemingly non-aggressive note, that even said "please", asking you to be more considerate when you park so others can get out, and this triggered you?

You even acknowledged that you parked like shit.

I parked flush with the truck next to me, and there was enough room regardless.
I know I parked like shit - but I would never be petty enough to leave a note on someone's car.

You park like an ass, get called out for it, but they're the real ass for calling you out?

The rest of CE can weigh in, it bugs me when people park like jerks so maybe that's too much of a bias for me. I wouldn't leave a note, but I think you are overreacting a bit, and it's a simple resolution by parking in a designated spot within the lines and not just wherever you want as long as you are "flush to the next vehicle"

I love Larry David, and I'd honestly prefer if someone just told me straight up and not on a sticky note.
