Marvel boss Kevin Feige made it official Saturday at the studios Comic-Con panel that Avengers: Endgame is clicking past Avatars $2.7897 billion global box office this weekend to become the biggest film of all time at the box office. Neither film really deserves to be #1 due to how they sold tickets and re-released in theaters. Seems like cheating. Box office success should be measured by number of tickets sold, not the sales figures.

Maybe tickets sold as a percentage of the population? --- ImgTC. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Box office success should be measured by number of tickets sold, not the sales figures. Fewer people to go the movies too though. Back in the 80s and 90s when tickets were cheaper, entire families went to the movies on a regular basis. That's why there were so many PG rated movies that you probably remember. Now people only go for big name blockbusters which are targeted towards teens or adults. Real quick, what's the last PG rated movie you can remember coming out? ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah ticket prices have definitely gotten to the point where it isn't something a family can easily afford routinely. I can't remember the last pg movie that came out, besides the animated ones that Disney is always pumping out --- ImgTC. ... Copied to Clipboard!
