im slowly going through Odyssey. been 3months since i played it i think. i got coins expiring too lol

just level 28ish i think. ive headed SouthEast to find an arena... fought a couple times and stopped playing. odyssey is yuge. i lost track of gold, black, red, and blue quests.

It turns into a huge grind eventually.

Level cap is 99 now. I'm 71 and didn't use any of the xp exploits so I just won't bother going to cap, no reason to. Dlc caps out at level 60ish anyway.

Odyssey isn't exactly representative of the best parts of Assassin's Creed since 2, unfortunately.

It's basically Gladiators: An Assassin's Creed story. It would've been popular as a new IP, I'd imagine.

I stopped playing after Unity and just can't get myself to be interested again. Which is a shame because I like the series.

Yeah. It was basically my first Assassins Creed game and I loved it. One of the very few games I bothered to platinum. Got Origins based off Odyssey and liked that a lot as well (although not quite as much).

I can understand fans of the franchise not liking it from what I hear though.

Origins is amazing and well worth playing. Even as a standalone game it's fantastic.

I'd love to play Origins but I wouldn't feel right unless I finished Unity and Syndicate first. So yeah. I'll get back into them someday.

As a die hard series fan(I dunno why, don't ask), you're not missing anything.

Origins is one of the best games this Gen, and the second best game in the series. It's also a prequel that requires zero knowledge of the series to get into.

Eh, Unity and Syndicate are definitely the more traditional feeling Assassin's Creed games though. It all depends on what TC liked the series for in the first place.

I thought the original was cool for its time so I naturally picked up the sequel but did not beat it completely. Just didnt like it.
