Let me just say now I have no idea what I want from this topic. I just need to get it off my chest. I've been attracted to a coworker of mine, we quickly became cool with each other, and for the first time in my life (pathetic, I know) I'm a little positive she has some interest in me.

We haven't had much opportunity to work together though so while we see each other every day, we haven't spent extended time together. So while I'm at one location with a crew, she's at another with a different crew. Two days ago, my crew eventually met up with everyone else. It's lunch so I grab my cooler and join up with some people. Her greeting was "What'd you get me". Yesterday she asks what I have again so I flip it and say it depends on what she got me, forgetting that there are other people around. They immediately react with interest. She actually does pull some cookies out and gives me some.

Now, the dude she's been rolling with is pretty cool, worked with him a bit and I like him. He starts "complaining" about how I'm the only one who got some and it's only after he says something that she gives everyone else some. Dude looks at the amount I have and asks why I got the most. I say it's because I'm special and then he gets this, knowing look, and says "oh I know". Then for the rest of the day he kept teasing us, "accidentally" revealing things that she told him and every time he did she'd have this almost bashful look on her face as she'd look away. He would keep coming up with various ways for us to end up in the same truck. Basically anything that would end up with us together.

Come today, dude doubles down on that. He could've said, and I was expecting him to, that he was just fucking around but if anything he made it more obvious. And what I find interesting is that she hasn't told him to stop. But I'm not sure if this is good or bad. I could be wrong about everything or dude is legit trying to help us out.

Like I said, I don't know what I want or expect from posting this. But keeping it inside would just further stress me out.

Just do something inexpensive then. If a woman is into you for free meals or whatever you don't want her anyway.

I feel that's only the case if you don't talk about it and/or assume that you'll work out. If things work out and we end together, I plan on talking about this.

Talked to my grandma about this, helped me realize that if this exact situation, plus some other things she has done that I left out in this topic, was being told to me, I'd immediately tell them to go for it. With the way my grandma was reacting, she saw them as flashing neon signs. While I still could be wrong, there's no real reason other than insecurities to not see where this goes. Guess I just needed an outside perspective.
