A Virginia church sign telling people to either LOVE or LEAVE America has sparked fury on social media as the controversial sign sits outside the Friendless, oopsa a poo, Friendship Baptist Church on Red House Road and reads "America: Love it or leave it"

It was introduced by aging fossils, Pastor E.W Lucas who he and his wife founded the church in 1979

He said "Since we've had favourable comments on it, i thought i'd just leave it for awhile"

The wicked pastor says he was originally gonna put up a current ppolitical chasm dividing washington but he had an epiphany after he heard Trump's speech and said "It just came to me. I just said "America, i love it. if you don't love it, leave it"

People reacted swiftly, especially the "leave" part of it as ABC 13's FB post garndered sharp reaction as some users are calling out his rational and misguided and contradicting statement

One user said "I guess they missed the part in the bible that says love thy neighbor, treat the sojourner in your country as yourself, treat refugees with kindess"

But others praised his hard stance as one said "People leave restaurants, movies, any situation so if you don't love this country go find a country that you want to live in. Simple. We live in a country founded on conservative principle. We don't want no change"

Residents of Appomattox said they are trying to make sense of it too as William Thompson said "It's up to each individual person. Ultimately, if we have problems, we should try to fix it".

The Pinnocho nosed Pastor said he isn't afraid of backlash saying his duties as pastor outshine any negativity who said "Preachers, by and large, today, are afraid they're gonna hurt somebody's feelings and when i get in the pulpit, i'm afraid i won't hurt somebody else's feelings"

He said people should be thankful they live in America, regardless of current struggles unlike those living in the south or middle east.

He said "People that feel hard about our president and want to down the president and down the country and everything, they ought ot go over there and live in these other countries for a little while. I believe God gave us our prayer and he will continue to give us prayer to people who believe in him"
