Someone started s facebook event about storming area 51 to see dem aliens. It's got over 1 million people "attending" and another 1 million interested. It's all a joke but people are going to definitely show up. The news has been reporting it and some government agencies have had to comment reminding everyone it's a felony and they will arrest and or shoot you if you try and even step foot near the base.

So as a somewhat civilized person I'll watch a livestream of the event

the #1 thing to be worried about is instagram influencers

they're already the scum of the earth and will do ANYTHING for likes and follows, some will definitely try to push it and will either get shot or arrested

Absolutely a few people will try. It won't be a lot of people though.

Maybe one person will get 'in range' of the facility and get arrested.

The rest will give up partway and there may be some cases of heat exhaustion and such.

There will absolutely not be any shooting unless some hillbillies show up armed or something. Even if somehow a mass of people got near, they'd just use riot control methods like tear gas. Military doesn't shoot US citizens unless they've exhausted all other avenues.
