21 y/o Naomi Osaka, the ranked #2 in Women's Tennis made the cover of allure as she told the magazine that her success is just as much about drive and aspirations as skill who said "My parents weren't exactly the richest, so what am i going to do? I'm not really the smartest. I've been playing tennis my whole life, you know? So there's nothing i can imagine myself doing. Its either i have to be the best or i'm going to be homeless"...

And Naomi made those comments while stating she may GIVE UP her AMERICAN PASSPORT and play for JAPAN at the Olympics!!

The Japanese-American pro made her name when she beat Serena Williams at the US Open which was much criticized and made headlines after the calls against Serena of which she blasted the judge in that match for his sexist bias against female tennis players compared to male ones.

That didn't phase Naomi however as Serena still congratulated her on her win but it's taking a physical toll on her lately as her bones are beginning to CRACK and she doesn't think it's normal.

She uses a lot of sunscreen whenever she is out on the tennis court as she trains for days and has made tennis her entire career.

Now as the 2020 Olympics are approaching, Naomi says she might give up American citizenship to play for Japan as she'd like to represent the country she was born in but not being american anymore is also a hard decision for her to make.

She kept getting challenged and was breaking down essentially during that match. I think she got a warning for something (on-court coaching?), and then smashed a racquet which she got a point violation for. She then argued with the official, saying a bunch of things.

Is that a artificial tan?

No. She is half Japanese half African american.

I honestly thought she was a dual citizen since I could have sworn she is shown as representing Japan in WTA stuff.

I meant, how was a ref being sexist in a female vs. female match?

Oh, sorry. I think it was because that she claimed that the official was being harsher on her than they would be on the males. The official in question is known for being fairly strict.

Even if her delusion was true, it wouldn't put her at a disadvantage against her opponent, since both players would be on equal ground. Seemed like a nonsensical thing for her to complain about, because as you stated, not all refs are the same (in any sport), so you'd expect some variance in matches.

Wow, FT. I know you often pull some non-sequiturs, but that OP...

Anyway, she has really sleepy, disinterested eyes in all those pictures. She's a pro tennis player, so of course she has a decent enough figure, but that's about as much as I can say for her.
