The Yogscast have also had some issues lately. Caffcast got kicked out for manipulating fans. Whatever evidence his accusers had was enough that literally every single Yog that had done content with him mentioned that they were disgusted with at least one going so far as to take down every video they'd done together.

Their CEO, Turps, voluntarily stepped down after there was evidence he'd acted inappropriately. I may be biased because I actually gave a shit about him, but I think this was more an issue of professionalism than anything else.

I think the Yogscast is actually handling this as well as can be imagined. They immediately kicked Caff out and hired an independent firm to investigate claims. After these incidents, they even went so far as to have that firm investigate claims against one of their major content creators that happened years ago.

Stop giving them attention. There's nothing informative, it shouldn't be surprising and if it's entertaining to you well sure have a laugh, get it out of your system but don't be surprised when watching these guys do this stuff repeatedly gets really stale.

That idiot at the bottom of your list was very telling, I actually did end up seeing a bit of that one. He did something completely typical of an advertisement enabling scum youtuber and a million of them just started salivating all "Hehehe this will make a FINE hashtag yeessss" and all these videos start popping up where they they just sit there and talk at length and go "X Youtuber does not align with the after school special-esque values my Youtube sona (who you should sub to and support on patreon) holds! It does not take any effort to understand why what he did is deplorable but you'd better believe I'm gonna talk at length about it and make damn sure you know all about how I'm now a permanent fixture in this hopefully long-lasting argument."

I wish people weren't so eager to lift these people up to e-celeb status in exchange for the chance to ride their coattails.

I get what you're saying but I am trying to give them unwanted attention. And yeah the guy you're referring to has always been terrible anyway. Honestly I probably shouldn't have included him anyway since it didn't turn out that he was terrible, since he's always been terrible anyway. Most of the others had some sort of credibility before their demise.

I don't know the details, but I saw that there was an incredibly long blog post about ProJared that proved either he did not know they were minors or the minors weren't actually minors and lied about everything. I've also seen people now on Jared side after more proof was shown that Heidi is a massive liar and overall terrible person. Again don't know the details, but there has been support on Jared's side recently.

Quick summary on the Chey/Slazo situation. At the time Chey was 14 and Slazo was 16 (3-4 years ago), they dated, and it was a regular awkward teenage relationship. Chey recently had come out and said that Slazo sexually abused her and was very controlling and demanded sex. She showed DMs as proof plus her own story. Everyone turns on Slazo, including his friend who recently made a collaboration video with, ImAllexx. A few weeks later Slazo makes a video showing his side, with a ton of DMs that shows that she lied on almost everything she said and she took all her evidence out of context, such as having a 10 minute gap between messages and Slazo showed the conversation in that time. Chey was even the person who initiated sex between them, planned it out before hand, and then afterwards talked about how much she liked it.

I've never seen a turnaround that fast before. Before everyone was against Slazo and his subreddit had to be closed down, then he responded and everyone (except his former friend, ImAllex) switched sides, and even some of Chey's friends stopped defending her. That happened around 3 weeks ago and Chey has yet to respond.

Why does it not suffice for people to hear what he did, unsub and walk off though? Why do we need over 9000 videos where people sit down and weigh in on "the situation", either just to put themself on the map or to goad the subject into responding and digging himself deeper?

Ok. Understandable. It's too late to edit the post above but to talk about the stuff in bold:

Slazo: this was a situation where he was basically lied about for fake rape and abuse allegations from his old girlfriend named Chey. It also came to light that people like ImAllex who is a commentary channel and Hyojin who is an animator on YouTube (although they aren't the only two who did this although they are the most vocal) probably helped Chey write the false allegations to ruin Slazo's career (this was proven by discord screenshots). Slazo made a video which proved most of what Chey said was bullshit.

Mumkey: This guy basically got kicked off of YouTube for no reason last year and people felt sorry for him. However it was basically proven that he cheated on his girlfriend for a pedophile who was also proven to had relations to a 15 year old. People called him out on it and he went on a big downward spiral. Now he's somewhat quitting YouTube as a full time career.

Etika situation was really long and full of details but basically he killed himself due to a mental disorder. A person named jaystation made a clickbait video after his death and it was fully monitized. People called him out on it and he changed the title and said that the money was going to etika's mother/family (which I don't think most people believed). Basically the guy is a piece of shit and used a guy's death for fame.

Someone else will have to explain the James Charles stuff because I'm probably not informed enough on that to give a full summary. It's similar to the slazo thing where James was innocent and the Tati person was lying.

Pretty much this yeah. The cheating thing he could have recovered from but he's a huge dumbass for the underage stuff. The fact he never fully responded to that after all this time makes me think it's true.
