Complained to their corporate office on the issues I have had, which would indicate it was issues with management. Well turns out this location is a franchise and the "compensation" can only be redeemed at that location by giving them the latter they sent me.

Would you trust food from a place that you show in their face you complained on them to the highest level you could?

Sorry to hear about your terrible experience. To answer your question, nope, I sure wouldn't. I wouldn't go back at all for any reason. I feel your pain as I have had my own issues at a nearby fast food place myself.

I think I know what you are trying to say. But maybe not because I can't quite understand either.

It can be tricky dealing with places that have someone basically running everything, then corporate kind of blows you off, giving you compensation only redeemable there

If it was truly horrible, and I mean possibly beyond redemption in your opinion, then don't go back. I haven't had very many experiences like that. I can only think of 2 off the top of my head.

One where the food was completely cold, asked for something to be done about it and the server told me to go to fuck myself because I was lying, only trying to get free food (they're now out of business).

Other was a pizza place that had the 2nd worst pizza I ever had. Posted a review on Facebook. Owner denied we were there and started arguing with us

From a food service perspective, nobody cares what happened in the past, unless you were a particularly memorable awful experience. As long as you don't continue to be rude or difficult, it shouldn't be a problem.

This, coupled with the fact that restaurant kitchens are insanely busy and most don't have the presence of mind or even the time to "exact revenge" on an unhappy customer. They're too busy doing their job to give a shit, even if they were to give a shit in the first place.

Also, if they got caught tampering with food, they know they'd lose their job and have a hard time getting hired anywhere that wasn't 500 miles away from where they work now. Most wouldn't risk that.

Thats an awful, antiquated ideal.

I tell you something, if some customer came to my job, asked me for a gallon of milk with a fresher date on it and I respond sorry, thats the freshest we have, and they blow my head off with a shotgun... I guarantee that management would be like well, shucks, he shouldve been nicer to the customer and maybe that wouldnt have happened.

Customers have gotten away with doing whatever they want for far too long, and its becoming a problem.

Absolutely. I was at BK a month ago, and this woman was being so obnoxious to the cashier. Claimed she ordered 4 kids meals and 3 whoppers. She only got 1. Where the fuck was her other whoppers!

Kids are running rampant throughout the restaurant. She's loud and not even using real English. Manager has to come out and see the receipt. She "don't want to show you shit"

Eventually gives it up. You guessed it: never ordered 3 whoppers. Tells him to go fuck himself and leaves.

Comes back to get the kids.
